Education and Presentations
- The 2009 Parenteral Drug Association Conference, held in Las Vegas in April, featured UNIConnect founder Bill Harten as a keynote speaker. Addressing the topic of interoperability, Harten intrigued attendees with the idea that the solution for specific interoperability problems is a generic approach. Harten demonstrated how a generic process-tracking system, built from generic steps and then given specific names, eliminates most interoperability issues with a system that fits the exact needs of the lab. With a lab manager of process expertly controlling the speed of the project, and 100% user customization and configuration, this approach yields end-to-end traceability that can track and control any process.
